Award-Winning, Hand-Made Cheeses

| /

We’ve partnered with our friends at Sprig Woodworks to bring you the ultimate trail-ready cheese board. Handcrafted from cherry wood and paired with a custom knife, this set is made for wild places—perfect for mountaintop snacking, lakeside lunches, or fireside feasts under the stars. It's light weight and small enough to fit in a backpack. We’ve also packed in our favorite Maine-made crackers and a selection of our signature cheeses, so you’re ready for wherever the trail (or the tailgate) takes you. A ruggedly delicious gift for the adventurer who appreciates good gear, good food, and a little luxury in the wild.

Note from our trail blazing customer....

"Hiking on a sweltering day requires some important essentials to fuel your outing. High temperatures means being selective on what to pack and where to hike. However, my work was not only cut out for me, I also got to snack in style at my go-to spot to hike and swim.

The best cheese to pack into the outdoors on a scorching day (or a multi-day trip with high temps) should stay in the cheddar family. Typically, the sharper the better, which means less sweat when exposed to heat. Crooked Face Bernadette was a no brainer today, its mild cheddar flavor and texture paired delightfully with another hot day essential: a salami stick. With the right cracker, you get the perfect combination of bright, smooth, savory crunch. It is a favorite combination that always keeps well no matter how hot it gets!

Fresh raspberries and strawberries from the garden and another trail staple, granola, tied this whole meal together. A perfect picnic spread on the Crooked Face Trail-Ready Cheese Board made for a gorgeous meal break before taking a dip at my favorite local trailside creek.

The hole in this board not only made this easy to hold, but surprisingly doubled as a cute stabilizer for today’s creek cocktail of choice: a limoncello gimlet. Cheers!

My last pro tip: Always remember to pack out what you packed in, even if ingredients are “biodegradable”. Your local ecosystems will stay happy, healthy, and beautiful, and that means more crumbs for your belly, which you need to stay full for your walk back to the car."
